Publicity statement

Photographs of the meeting and the participant inclusion list may be used for publicity purposes. Registration implies consent for these materials to be used for this purpose unless written notification is received by the organising team at least one week prior to the start of the conference.



Registration categories

Standard registration rates are inclusive of the full conference programme; three nights’ accommodation (max double occupancy) from Sunday 3rd November to Wednesday 6th November; daily breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon breaks; welcome evening reception on Sunday 3rd November; dinner on Monday 4th November; conference dinner on Tuesday 5th November and optional trip on Tuesday 5th November afternoon.

Conference non-residential registration rates (for local Thai nationals or any delegates wishing to share accommodation only) include attendance at the conference, lunch and morning and afternoon breaks, welcome reception on Sunday 3rd November and optional trip on Tuesday 5th November afternoon. Dinner on Monday 4th November and the conference dinner on Tuesday 5th November can be purchased separately.

A limited number of travel awards are available to support delegates from low and middle income countries (latest World Bank definition) and students (supporting documents required). Application will take place during the abstract submission process and priority given to those with conference abstracts accepted. These awards will cover the registration fees with some awards also inclusive of travel costs. Award recipients will be notified around the time the abstract submission results are announced. The conference committee’s decision is final.

Accommodation

A number of hotel rooms at the conference venue (The Riverie) have been reserved for delegates. The organisers reserve the right to arrange alternative hotel accommodation of a similar standard nearby in the event that the number of conference participants exceed capacity. Breakfast is included as standard.

Delegates wishing to bring guests will be asked to notify the organisers at the time of registration or as early as possible via email to allow us to allocate rooms appropriately. Additional beds and a limited number of family rooms are available for a surcharge. If you would like to extend your stay at the hotel (surcharge required), please also notify us and we will help coordinate with the hotel directly.

For delegates wishing to share accommodation (double occupancy), one delegate must be registered at the standard rate (full or student) and the second registered at the non-residential rate (full or student).

Refund policy

Please notify the organisers of any cancellation or modification as soon as possible. Substitutions are allowed. Written requests can be sent to the organisers by email. Registration fees minus USD 50 processing charge will be refunded if the cancellation request is received by 3rd October 2019. Refunds will be paid in Thai Baht (THB).
