:: Oral Presentations

The lecture hall will be equipped with:

·
an overhead projector
·
a slide projector
·
a LCD video projector
·
a PC computer

The computer is equipped with:

·
MS Office 2000
·
Acrobat Reader
·
Power Point 2000
·
diskette and CD readers

It will NOT be possible to use Zip drives. Please make sure that your presentation is compatible with the above mentioned software. All presentations should be handed over to computer operator at least 30 minutes before each session begins. Projections from individual laptop computers are strongly discouraged due to the possible technical differences in computers and projectors. It is absolutely essential that Macintosh users check their presentations using a PC computer before leaving home to make sure that fonts have not changed and lettering has not moved. (PowerPoint for the PC and PowerPoint for the Mac do not use the same font sets and lettering can shift, and even sometimes lines of text simply disappear).
For all additional technical questions feel free to contact us to the following e-mail address: jrblanco@frs.seris.es

:: Slide projections

Slide projections will be accepted exceptionally. In these cases slides should be 24 × 36 mm. in 5 × 5 frames. Do not clutter with excessive detail; the slides should be self-explanatory. Number the slides in the order of projection and include the author's name. Hand them over personally to the projectionist in the pre-projection room 30 minutes before the session begins.

:: Poster presentation

Poster instructions will be sent to the authors whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation.

Please refer to the final detailed program.

Make sure to remove all the poster material from the board. The poster service staff will remove posters not taken down in time. However, we cannot assume any responsibility for the material left behind.

Location

Posters will be displayed in the Hall of the Congress Palace. Staff will be there to assist you.

Poster Presentation

The size of your poster should be a maximum of 90 cm wide and 180 cm high (35 inches x 71 inches) (portrait orientation). The panel where your poster should be hanged on will be instructed at the entrance of the poster area. The poster service staff on site will provide mounting material.

Text and Illustration Layout

Keep it short and simple. Include the title of the presentation and the author's name at the top edge of the poster. Your poster text should be enlarged so that it can be read at a distance of about three meters. Drawings, diagrams and photos are extremely helpful and often necessary to display results and conclusions. Make sure that your illustrations are easy to understand; do not overload any chart or drawing with information.
